# How do I close my account?

⚠ **Closing your account is permanent and non-reversible.** Any remaining time on a **paid subscription** will be **forfeited**.  Your Nucleus phone number will be deactivated and re-assigned to a new customer. To close/delete your Free or Premium account:

1. **Login** to your Nucleus account.
2. **Click** on your **Account Avatar** in the top-right corner.
3. **Select** ‘Account.’
4. **Select** ‘Close Account.’
5. **Confirm** that you want to close your account.

If you have a Premium Account and you wish to downgrade to a Free Account:

* Click on your **Account Avatar **at the top right-hand corner of the dashboard.
* Select **Billing** 
* Select *Cancel Subscription*
* ** **Confirm **Cancellation
* Your Premium Account will downgrade to a Free Account at the end of your current billing period
